For cycling enthusiasts, bikes are available for hire to explore the scenic rail trail. “The idea of staying in a miners cottage, so it exceeded our expectation in comfort, ease of parking, the cottage was pristine clean and the bed very comfortable with lots of extra blankets for the colder weather. We liked being beside the well cared for anmals and sitting out watching beautiful sunsets. We also enjoyed the quirkiness of some of the decor, the kauri Benchtop, the display table and especially the photos on the walls”
